Product Display/Colors

Errors on Our Site

Prices and availability of products and services are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where discovered, and Standard TV and Appliance reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Standard TV and Appliance will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. Individual bank policies will dictate when this amount is credited to your account. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return it in accordance with Standard TV and Appliance’s Return Policy.

Sales Tax Policy

Standard TV and Appliance collects and remits sales tax as required by U.S. law, for transactions in our stores, standardtvandappliance.com and stvaappliancerepair.com. If you’re a tax-exempt entity, you can take advantage of tax-exempt status for applicable store purchase, as well as for applicable purchases made at stvaappliancerepair.com and standardtvandappliance.com.

Return Policy

Order Limitations

We reserve the right to reject any order you place with us, and/or or to limit quantities on any order, without giving any reason. If we reject your order, we will generally attempt to notify you using the e-mail address you gave us when you placed the order.

Order Limitations/Limited Quantities

Standard TV and Appliance may, at its own discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. Standard TV and Appliance also reserves the right to reject any order you place with us. These restrictions may include orders placed by the same Standard TV and Appliance Service Web site account, the same credit card, and orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event we make a change to an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address provided at the time the order was made. Standard TV and Appliance reserves the right to limit or prohibit sales to dealers.

Shipping

All orders placed on this site are subject to product availability and will be shipped according to Standard TV and Appliance’s shipping policies.

In the rare event that your order never arrives, notification of lost items must be received within 30 days from receipt of the shipping confirmation e-mail.

Free Delivery Promotion

From time to time Standard TV and Appliance will offer a Free Delivery promotion for purchases $399 and up. Free delivery is only available in Oregon, to the Portland-Metro area and Bend/Redmond areas only on purchase of $399.00 and up. Free delivery offer is not applicable to same day delivery service. Additional charges may apply to other areas. See store for details.

Termination of Use

Standard TV and Appliance may, in its sole discretion, terminate your account or your use of the Standard TV and Appliance Service Web site at anytime. You are personally liable for any orders that you place or charges that you incur prior to termination. Standard TV and Appliance reserves the right to change, suspend or discontinue all or any aspects of the Standard TV and Appliance Service Web site at any time without prior notice.

Returns & Exchange Policy
Appliance, Electronics and Mattresses

Merchandise Returns and Exchanges and Restocking Fee

Merchandise appearing on a Standard TV & Appliance sales order or original sales receipt (for Cash and Carry items) may be returned for full refund* or store credit, or exchanged within 30-days of pick-up or delivery under the following conditions:

  • Merchandise is not a Special Order item (see Special Order Merchandise and Services section below).
  • Merchandise is in its factory-sealed package (unopened) with the packaging being in its original condition with all labels affixed.
  • Exclusions: air conditioners and barbecue grills are excluded from this policy.

A minimum 15% restocking fee will be applied to merchandise returned within 30 days of delivery or pick-up if not returned in the condition noted in (b.) above.

Special Order Merchandise and Services

Per the Terms and Conditions of the Special Order Product Agreement and Disclosure form, Special Order merchandise is not returnable. Similarly, charges for installation and delivery services provided by Standard TV staff are nonrefundable after they have been performed. Fees incurred for installation and delivery services provided by a third party are not eligible for refund consideration.

Damaged Merchandise

Inspect your merchandise for, and inform us of, damage at time of pick-up or delivery. After you take possession of the merchandise, the manufacturer’s warranty applies and some, not all, provide coverage for cosmetic damage and, of the ones that do, the damage must be reported promptly. Manufacturer reporting periods vary, the longest being within 30 days of pick-up or delivery. Refer to your manufacturer’s warranty for specifics.

Functional Defect

If, within 7 days of pick-up or delivery, you report a performance problem with your merchandise and the problem is subsequently diagnosed as a functional defect by a factory-certified technician and is unable to be repaired within three business days of the diagnosis, your merchandise will be replaced. Performance concerns reported after this 7-day period will be addressed per the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty.

Mattress 60-Night Sleep Guarantee

You must sleep on your mattress for 21 days to be eligible for this guarantee. After becoming eligible, you may exchange* your mattress within 60 days of you having taken possession of the mattress (via pick-up or delivery) if you are dissatisfied with your mattress for any reason (you must pay the difference between the price of original and replacement mattresses, and any delivery fees for the replacement mattress). This guarantee is limited to one exchange. BeautySleep mattresses, mattresses that are stained or damaged, and adjustable foundations are excluded from this policy.

Internet Sales

Televisions:
Televisions sales made via our Internet channels are final and cannot be returned. Please refer to the owner’s manual and contact the manufacturer’s authorized service center for repairs if you have a defective Television.

Damaged Shipments:
Customer is responsible to inspect items thoroughly for shipping damages, before accepting the product. Please do not sign for the package and immediately refuse shipment. Please contact us if there is any indication of physical damage to the package at 800-398-7177

Concealed Damage:
Concealed damage should be reported within 24 hours of receiving the product to our Customer Relations Department at 800-398-7177

Shipping Terms:
Some Promotional Products may contain FREE Shipping. The FREE Shipping Products will be delivery between 7-10 Days. You may choose to expedite your shipping method at an extra cost.

Pricing Errors:
Standard TV & Appliance reserves the right to cancel, refuse and sell items inputted automatically or manually offered at an incorrect price.

*Refunds for items purchased with a credit card are credited to the original card. Refunds for items purchased via cash, check, or debit come in the form of a check from our corporate office mailed within 14 business days of the return date. Refunds for items purchased with store credit, gift card, or gift certificate are refunded as store credit that will remain active for 3 years. Promotional items must be returned with product or their retail value will be deducted from the refund, store credit or exchange value.
